ROBOTIC BENDING CELL NOW WITH EASY-FORM® LASER
Dyna-Cell
combines the electric-drive Dyna-Press Pro 40-ton press brake with a
Kuka industrial robot to offer maximum bending productivity in a small
footprint of 5 m x 5 m.
Dyna-Cell is now available with LVD’s Easy-Form® Laser in-process adaptive bending system that allows the machine to adapt to material variations, including sheet thickness, strain hardening and grain direction, automatically compensating for any changes.
Dyna-Cell also delivers revolutionary fast, automatic programming – 10 minutes for CAM generation of the bending and robot program and 10 minutes for set-up and first part production. CAM programming is handled completely offline with no need to physically teach the robot at the machine. This eliminates considerable set-up time and ensures fast Art-to-Part times even for small batches.
The robot features a unique universal gripper designed and patented by LVD. One gripper fits all applications and handles part sizes from 35 mm x 100 mm up to 350 mm x 500 mm and manages parts as heavy as 3 kg.
Dyna-Cell’s design also allows the flexibility of unmanned or manned operation offering an ideal solution for varying batch sizes.
HIGH-POWER FIBER LASER
LVD will also highlight the Phoenix FL-3015
fiber laser cutting machine with 10 kW laser source. This all-around
performer realizes superior cut quality through an advanced cutting head
that provides automated adjustment of focus position and focus
diameter. This advanced technology makes the Phoenix FL one of the most
flexible fiber laser cutting machines available – able to cut different
sheet thicknesses, ferrous and non-ferrous materials maintaining the
same high quality.
The 19” touch screen control Touch-L allows fast and uncomplicated setup and conveniently displays cutting technology and nests.
SMART BENDING TECHNOLOGY
On display at TechniShow will be the Easy-Form 80/25 equipped with Easy-Form® Laser (EFL) adaptive bending system.
EFL guarantees the desired angle from the first bending operation. The angle measuring system consists of two laser scanners, located on the front and back of the machine table, linked with LVD’s CADMAN® intelligent bending database via the Touch-B control. As the bending sequence of the press brake is initiated, EFL transmits the digital information in real time to the CNC control unit, which processes it and adjusts the position of the /punch to achieve the correct angle. The bending process is not interrupted and no production time is lost.
SMART FACTORY
The complete suite of CADMAN software products will be integrated with the LVD laser cutting and bending machinery on display. LVD equipment will be networked to CADMAN-Job, LVD Touch controllers and Touch-i4 tablet to showcase optimized production.
